Tuition savings for nonresidents

The Midwest Student Exchange Program award allows legal residents of Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Wisconsin to attend IUPUI and pay tuition at 150 percent of the in-state rate. The award reduces tuition for qualifying nonresidents from $29,806 per academic year to $13,462, resulting in a savings of about $16,344 per year.

The award will be available to Ohio residents starting with the fall 2018 semester.

Learn how to be smart about finances

We want to help you make good financial decisions throughout your time at IUPUI and beyond. That’s why the Office of Financial Literacy established MoneySmarts, a university-wide initiative that educates students about financial wellness.

You can find financial management resources on the MoneySmarts website; get expert advice from MoneySmarts’ weekly podcast, How Not to Move Back in With Your Parents; or even talk to a peer financial educator about your personal financial situation.
